It's that special time of year again- tulips and daffodils are popping up through the ground, the shops are full of chocolate treats shaped like eggs and bunnies and everyone in the UK is looking forward to not one, but TWO bank holidays! 🐣🐰🐇
In other words, Easter is here! And if you're stumped as to how to spend your four-day weekend, we can offer a few ideas. 🐣
Here are some of the things happening in North London this Easter weekend:
Easter Trail at Lauderdale House- On Sunday 5th April, the Easter Bunny will be coming to Waterlow Park in Highgate. Bring the family and collect a free treasure map from the tea lawn at Lauderdale House, then solve the riddles to find the Easter Bunny. From 11-4:30 🐇
Live Music and Dancing at the Dukes of Highgate- Get ready to clap your hands, stomp your cowboy boots and swing your partner round and round. The Dukes of Highgate is hosting live country and bluegrass music Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, as well as a line dancing class on Sunday. 🐰
Easter Egg-stravaganza at Capel Manor Gardens, Enfield- Running Friday through Monday, enjoy a themed trail with the little ones. There will be seasonal activities, entertainment and animal talks/handling at the mini zoo. From £11, under 2's free. 🐰
Toy Race Car Workshop at Ally Pally- From Friday through Monday, Alexandra Palace will be hosting workshops where children of all ages can build and test their own wooden race cars along a special track. 🐣
Easter 10k in Regent's Park- If you want to make room for some extra chocolate, sign up for the race or family fun run. Dress up in your workout gear or your favourite bunny costume! 🐇
