The last 14 months have rocked the world in more ways than one.
During this Pandemic, millions of people from ALL walks of life have experienced a mental health problem or have seen someone close, a loved one struggle.
Organised by the Mental Health Foundation, Mental Health Awareness Week encourages people across the UK to focus on achieving good mental health. It provides us all with the opportunity to reflect on our mental health, reach out to others, and explore different ways of improving people's wellbeing.
This year, people are being encouraged to connect with nature and consider what nature means to us. You can connect with nature in so many, different ways – something as simple as looking after a house plant to taking a dog for a walk, can all have a positive impact on your mental wellbeing. Nature is all around us.
