There have been many stressed home buyers all desperately chasing their solicitors and agents as the current ‘Stamp Duty Holiday' finishes at the end of this month.
House prices have rocketed to record highs at their fastest rate since 2004 since the chancellor made the announcement to relax the Stamp Duty Rates.
I know for those on the sales team at Taylor Gibbs the deadline will offer them some respite from what has been an incredibly busy few weeks with no time off and working overtime pushing to get deals through!
So, it is perhaps timely that something else has come into play (forgive the pun) as The Euros ‘kick off' giving a much needed new focus for our energies. Come on England – please win this time and offer some joy to those who may not have scored in the housing market this time round!
